Indonesia has the right elements to grow great coffee: it's close to the equator and has mountains which provide micro-climates which suit coffee growing.
The island of Sumatra has 3 main growing regions. The name Mandheling comes from the people who produce coffee called Mandailing and it denotes coffee from northern Sumatra. It is grown on the volcanic slopes of Mount Leuser.
The natural drying process used results in a full body with a concentrated flavor, garnished with herbal nuances and a spicy finish.
Process: Wet Hulled
